About the event
The Standing Tall Fashion Show Fundraiser for Wellspring Birmingham/Gilgan House is a fun, upbeat event designed to celebrate the strength and courage of all cancer survivors possess. Cancer doesn't discriminate - It doesn't care if you are a man or woman, child or adult, rich or poor. All of the models participating in this event are cancer survivors. They are the type of models we should admire and celebrate. They are warriors! Wellspring Birmingham/Gilgan House understands this very spirit. They focus on the people not the disease. The countless volunteers and professionals at Wellspring provide a wide range of support programs, each designed and tested and proven, to help these "warriors" and their loved ones overcome the challenges their cancer experience may pose. At Wellspring, they value Community, Compassion, Empowerment and Respect.
